Plastic Upcycling Community Workday – April 4
Join us this Saturday, April 4 from 10:00am–12:00pm at our plastic upcycling facility in Kaumakani for a community workday focused on turning ocean plastic into long-term resources for Kauaʻi.
These workdays are a chance to get hands-on with the materials we recover from our coastlines—sorting, shredding, and transforming marine debris into usable products through our upcycling systems.
Whether it’s your first time joining us or you’ve been out before, all are welcome. This is a great opportunity to learn more about plastic pollution, see how our machinery works, and be part of building local solutions to waste on island.
We’ll also be continuing to develop materials and infrastructure for both the upcycling program and our coral restoration efforts.
