Halloween Beach Cleanup - Nukoliʻi Beach Park

🎃 Trick - or - Trash 👻 Halloween cleanup THIS SATURDAY Oct. 28th at Nukoli‘i Beach Park from 10am - 1pm🏝️ There’s something pretty scary lurking about our shorelines - a monster of its own👹 The stuff that we use for a minute that ends up lasting way past our lifetime and effects all other life on earth (including our own)🐋🦭🐢🕊️🐝👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 OCEAN PLASTIC 🥤 dun..dun..dun!!! Help us sift out some of that spooky stuff from the sand at a beach that experiences some of the most small-micro size ocean plastic washing up on its shoreline every day. We’ll be giving away some spooktacular prizes for most trash collected, most awesome costume, and for scariest piece of trash found😈 If you’re looking for some good kine fun and something good to do for our island this weekend - come join us🙌 No RSVP necessary, just show up with a little bravery to combat that scary stuff on our coastline 😎 Oh and please remember to bring water in your reusable container and wear your reef-safe sunscreen🪸 We’ll have the rest of the stuff like cleanup gear and some snacks & refreshments for afterwards🤙 Mahalo Nui to our amazing intern, Sofia Saunders, for creating another awesome cleanup flyer!🙏🙏🙏
