Every month, something special happens at Nōmilu.

People from across Kauaʻi and beyond gather to care for this remarkable place, each bringing their own time, energy, knowledge, and aloha. Together, we continue a tradition of stewardship that stretches back generations while adding our own chapter to Nōmilu's ongoing story.

There is something powerful about working in a place that has been cared for by so many before us. Every invasive plant removed, every native planted, every trail improved, and every conversation shared helps strengthen the relationship between community and place. These workdays are about much more than restoration. They are about building pilina with one another, honoring those who came before us, and leaving something better for those who will follow.
