Join us for our next community workday at Nōmilu fishpond on Saturday, October 11th, as we continue clearing invasive species and restoring this culturally and ecologically important loko iʻa. RSVP is required — please carpool if you can and bring a small dish for our post-workday potluck lunch.

About the event
This month, we return to Nōmilu fishpond for another day of hands-on restoration and connection. Together, we are making steady progress along the pond’s 3,000+ ft perimeter, clearing invasive plants and limu and creating space for native species to return naturally or with our guidance.
📅 Date: Saturday, October 11, 2025
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 Meet-Up: Kauaʻi Coffee Visitor Center (grass parking lot) at 9:30 AM for volunteer pick-up and transfer to the pond. We’ll convoy back around 2:30–3:00 PM.

Space is limited to 20 volunteers due to logistics. Participants under 14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
